From the Big Apple to the 'D' -- Detroit born Karen Couf-Cohen has parlayed her gift of gab into terrific PR for over twenty five years – telling her clients' stories with imagination, flair and integrity.

Under the tutelage of T. George Harris, former editor of Psychology Today, Couf-Cohen began her career at American Health Magazine landing magazine writers and editors on The Today Show, Phil Donahue Show and other media. Noted for her media relations acumen, Couf-Cohen was tapped to serve as Director of Media Relations at Detroit based Lovio George Inc.

Leading her own boutique style agency, Couf-Cohen imprints a distinctive PR mark in the retail, real estate, entertainment, video gaming and exhibit design industries, with keen abilities to recognize both newsworthiness and the heart and soul of a story. Creative and values driven, Couf-Cohen seeks out companies that matter. "I take an environmental approach to my work but you won't find any recycled ideas here," says Karen.

Couf-Cohen is a leader in the community, sharing her expertise on the boards of key community organizations and institutions. In 2001 she founded a non-profit Concert in the Park series (now in its 10th year) that has attracted thousands of concertgoers and major corporate sponsors.

Couf-Cohen's stories and profiles have been featured in The Detroit Jewish News, Trade Show and Exhibit Manager, as well as a "mom blog" at The Detroit News. She is the wife of cardiologist and inventor Gerald Cohen, M.D. And mother of two.
